Snowy day

It snowed in the morning though it's already in April. I remember an acquaintance who is a rice farmer was saying one unexpectedly cold day could ruin all the seedlings.
I do hope his ones are survived.

Cherru blossoms are blooming perfectly, and wild violets are also seen in our garden.
many people are at the Koganei park to see the blossoms and they look happy and peaceful.

build a nest

I saw a pair of great tits started to build a nest. We have fasten a bird house in a persimmon tree. It was set a year ago, and used by tits last year. They built a nest in it and left so we left the nest there as it was. Today my husband looked into the birdhouse while fixing its roof to its wall, and found the former nest had completely gone. This year's tits have carried the materials away to build a new one! I'm looking forward to watch their child raising again.

plum blossoms

In the morning, I smelled plum blossoms while I was hanging my laundries on the second balcony. I looked at my neibour's garden and saw the flowers were blooming beautifully. I prefer to these dark strong pink colors for plums, compereing to white.

Edogawa Shizen Zoo

I went to Edogawa Shizen Zoo for the first time.
It's located in Edogawa ward, and the admission is free!
The cages were clean and the animals looked healthy which made me happy.
People must have taken care of the place very much.

These are the animals I saw; Squirrel monkey, Snowy owl, Peregrine Falcon, Oriental stork, Western crowned pigeon, Squirrel, Prairie dog, Giant anteater, Spider monkey, Wallaby, Radiated tortoise, Sea lion, Penguin, Sheep, Goat, and so on.

My favorate was a Giant anteater and some spider monkies.
