Bird's favorates

Bulbuls eat fruits and flowers, such as apples, oranges, pears and even bananas.

Great tits eat seeds, such as rice and sunflower seeds.

Sparrows like rice very much.

Brown-headed thrushes eat something on the ground, between fallen leaves. I wonder if they eat some bugs or seeds of some weeds.

Doves eat rice and something on the ground. I sometimes find they drink some water from our small pond where a few of small fish are in.

Gray-capped woodpeckers eat some bugs live in a persimmon tree.

Long-tailed tits just come by and check the bird feeder, but I hardly see them eat something.

These are the things I have observed in my garden so far this winter.

Hiyodori

I spend a whole day at a cafe area of Kajino Studio. It was Sunday so I was knitting and relaxed. As I watch outside, I saw some birds were coming to our bird feeder.

mushroom pasta with soy sauce

Tonight's supper was a mushroom pasta with soy sauce. ( I don't cook WASHOKU very often.) It's very easy and tasty, so I recommend anyone to cook.

dim at night

I unusually woke up around 3 a.m. and found the outside was not very dark. I felt awkward and looked for the reason.

snow in the morning

It started snowing in the morning.
I do like to see the snow because it let my mind calm down. The silence comes with it.

A windy day

It was very windy today. I didn't see many little birds around my house. the trees waved making noises all the time. I felt the next season is coming.

Akahara

An akahara came to our garden this morning. It dug the soil around eating something. I like its way of chirping when it flies away. It sounds like this, "kyo kyo kyo kyo kyo kyo" It sounds very unique.
